Education in Kenya is widely regarded as one of the key drivers of personal and national development. For orphaned children, however, the journey to accessing and completing education is often marked by multiple obstacles.

Meet Sharon Wekesa who  is a 10- year-old girl from a family of five. Their home is headed by her widowed mother with Sharon being the firstborn with three other siblings.

Today, we are supporting 589 orphan children through our Education Initiative, with 212 of these children attending Fortune Learners’ Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
