Candid Profile

We wanted to share with you our current Candid profile that might provide you with some additional insights into the Global Orphan Relief mission.

Global Orphan Relief has achieved the 2024 Platinum Seal of Transparency with Candid (formerly known as GuideStar)! The Candid seal is the highest possible rating and indicates that we exceed nonprofit industry standards. This exceptional designation sets us apart and demonstrates our trustworthiness to the public and to our funding partners.

By achieving the Platinum Transparency Seal, Global Orphan Relief has demonstrated our impact with mission-driven goals that have impressed donors with the difference that we are making in the field.  

Every year, millions of nonprofits spend trillions of dollars around the world. Candid finds out where that money comes from, where it goes, and why it matters. Through research, collaboration, and training, Candid connects people who want to change the world to the resources they need to do it. For a combined 88 years, Foundation Center and GuideStar (now Candid) each helped change the world by giving people the information they needed to do good.

Global Orphan Relief (GO) has been serving orphaned children since 2005.  We have accomplished this work to date through local partners in each country that provides oversight and distribution of care.
