Distribution of food and other aid occurred earlier this month in Punjab for eleven widow-led households, providing for forty orphan children.
As part of our Orphans & Widows partnership in Pakistan, these families receive aid needed to stay together in one household, rather than the children being separated from their mother and placed in an orphanage or in some other distant relative’s home.

This dramatic growth continues to provide resource challenges for our seventeen mission projects around the world. We have depleted our cash reserves this month to a point that if we do not receive significant funding over the next two weeks, we will have to reduce or terminate care for up to 2,600 children in the next 30-days. The resources we have today will not be enough to get us through the month of June.
