South Sudan’s Lueth-wek GO-sponsored beneficiaries Shine in Exams
Students with school meals support at Lueth-wek, South Sudan, have outshone their neighboring schools with flying colors.
Since 2016, we are honored to have been working with South Sudanese partner Christ Mission to the World to feed orphan children and have provided an estimated 1.7 million meals.

2022 October Reporting
We served a record number of children in October and plan for aggressive growth through 2023. We are encouraged by the response in the field in our newest initiative Church Mobilization, with plans to launch in the U.S. and India in 2023.
With the launch of Zambia last month, we are expecting great things from the Church there in the coming months!

We spent October 27-29 in the Northwestern Province of Zambia with World Outreach Team Action (WOTA) as we assessed the needs of orphan children in the area.

Church Mobilization Initiative Moves Beyond Kenya
We launched our Church Mobilization Initiative in February in Mombasa and Nairobi, Kenya. Since that time, momentum is building as we work to deploy the Church to advance the cause of orphan children.
Recently, the Director for this initiative in Kenya, Minister Isaiah Kimani, has mobilized to Zambia to prepare for our launch into this country where we have served since 2006.

Medical Intervention Needed in South Sudan Needed for 3,160 Vulnerable Children
With reports of local flooding coming in, water bourne diseases have become an issue for the student body at the three schools in which we serve. With the assistance of Christ Mission to the World, we would like to get medicines to the children for distribution and treatment of the sick.

As many of you know, I visited Kenya earlier this year for the launch of our Church Mobilization Initiative. This was the primary purpose of my visit, but I also spent some time in Nairobi visiting with our field partners and visiting their project sites. I was able to take some time to visit with one family in Kayole that cause the Church to move on their behalf. Beautiful!
Based on our Church Mobilization Initiative, via our Great Commandment Workshops (GCW), we are witnessing the local church moving out in their communities to serve orphan children.

Children Under GO! Sponsorship in South Sudan Want to Show the World That Their Support is Not in Vain
Hear from three children who share their aspirations for the future at Beliek Primary School in South Sudan. Today, 390 orphan children receive a meal each day as they gather to advance their studies via the Global Orphan Relief’s Nutrition Initiative.

Recent Flooding in Aweil Centre County
Widespread flooding in the Aweil-area is causing displacement of families in search of dry grown. We have been feeding children in this area of South Sudan since 2016.
Comparing prices at the end of June with the last week of February 2022, prices of staple cereals (sorghum and maize) have increased in all monitored markets, notably by 100 percent or more in Northern Bahr El Ghazal where we current feed 1,502 orphan children in partnership with Christ Mission to the World.

GCW Church Mobilization | Serve With Compassion
