Following the continuous support of orphan children in South Sudan through Global Orphanage Relief (GO!) in collaboration with Christ Mission to the World (CMW), children who have benefited from GO! through school feeding programmes speak out. These children express their unanimous appreciation of how others have invested int their lives to the betterment of their community.
These children had no hopes for their future, they used to be beggars on the street and some had not been enrolled at schools, but now after six years of support at three schools of Beliek Primary School in Aweil South, Lueth-wek and Adoor Orphanage schools in Aweil East, they realized that their future is now promising.
They had these testimonies and declaration of what they should do after their school in order to compensate their fellow citizens of South Sudan, Africa and World wholly as the only way to say “thank you to Americans who have been voluntarily donating their money to sustain them at schools and to keep them safe from the starvations of the seasonal looming hunger in the country.
Among the testimony-ambitious tellers were David Kuach Akot, 16 years old from Beliek Primary School in Aweil South County. He says he prays to be a Pastor so that he pays back through preaching the Word like his donors and so that he can teach his fellow citizens the love of God, particularly equality of mankind. He also says he enjoys reading the Bible and hence appeals of getting a scholarship to study to become a pastor or Bishop.
Peter Ahou Ahou, 13 years old from Beliek also says he learned the importance of being at school and how to read unlike the past. He says he is privileged to be part of this school because his future was uncertain due to school fees issues because his remaining parent (mother) couldn’t afford his school fees. Mary Achok, 14 years old, says she wants to be the first female president in South Sudan to help her fellow citizens from harsh living conditions.
Apart from these testimonies and ambitious hopes from school children, the host community living around these three schools in South Sudan, believe they have been blessed to have such schools in their villages.
Both children (beneficiaries) and the host communities are thankful for the opportunity and had several sensitizations being carried in villages as the majority turned from paganism to Christianity which helped eradicate primitivity and fight for illiteracy.
Global Orphan Relief (GO!) in collaboration with Christ Mission to the World (CMW) establishes feeding centres at village schools to provide meals to orphan children and have inspired an education campaign promoting vulnerable children to attend school.

We have served in South Sudan since 2016 and have provided an estimated 1.5 million meals impacting more than 3,200 children in South Sudan. The scale of this initiative has grown by over 7 times since our launch in 2016, and this growth is driven by the near-famine conditions and other socio-economic challenges in this country.
In cooperation with two partners, Kids for the Kingdom & Christ Mission to the World, there has been $130,000 invested in these three school sites since October 2020. This investment provides for clean water, kitchens, storerooms, and latrines, all which allows for cost-effective distribution of food aid in these communities.
