As part of our Church Mobilization Initiative, we held a Great Commandment Workshop event on Saturday, June 25th, that was attended by nearly four-hundred ministry leaders in the community. This was a multi-church event held at a school that assembled ministry leaders and other community members in Meru, Kenya.
We are honored and encouraged to be part of the mobilization of the Church in Kenya to serve orphan children.

Adoor Nutrition Support Continues During Near-Famine Conditions
The result of several geopolitical events is severe hunger for over 60 percent of South Sudan's population. Global Orphan Relief is working diligently to bring aid to over 1,300 orphan children in three village schools near Aweil, South Sudan, where have already served an estimated 1.5 million meals. Many children are thriving as they come to school at the Beliek Primary School in South Sudan. Many of these orphan children would not be in school without the meals provided, and they now have hope for the future as they learn -creating new possibilities.

Light House Orphanage Receives more Orphan Children
In 2020, we joined hands with Christ Mission to the World to support orphan children in Aweil, South Sudan, many of whom were living on the street. More than 100 children now receive some level of care from the Light House Orphanage.

Thirteen-year-old Orphan says his Life has changed from GO! Support
Since 2016, we have been working with South Sudanese partner Christ Mission to the World to feed orphan children in the Aweil area of South Sudan. Access issues from these village schools, combined with higher prices and diminished food supply, a perfect storm is on the horizon whereas the over 1,300 orphan children we feed in South Sudan are in jeopardy of receiving food beyond their time at school. There are more children in need that we can aid if we can gather more people to this effort.
