The Orphans & Widows program is now serving seventeen widow-led households in Jaranwala, Raiwind, and Narowal impacting fifty-eight orphan children.

Praise the Lord that after Sunday Worship meeting we distributed food bags & support among the widows on April 3, 2022. They received the items very happily from us. On 7th April,, a meeting was held in Narowal for distribution among the widows and orphans. It was a worship meeting where the Word of God was presented. Kids of all widows have passed their annual examination.

Two widows were sick and could not attend the meeting, however their support was sent through their fellow widows. Names of sick widows are Kiran & Sobia -please pray.

We thank our partner Bethel Church of Pakistan, whom we have served with since 2011, for their efforts to provide for the needs of Widows & Orphans in their community. As we continue this effort into 2022 it is important for us to secure the monthly support needed for current needs and to grow this partnership. Our impact today is seventeen families led by a widow, serving fifty-eight orphaned children, with many families waiting for aid. Today, $1,740 monthly is needed to support these seventeen families. Based on the ongoing deficits for this program we will be reducing the number of families we support starting in June. With your support we can support these families in need without any further reduction with the impact we are providing.

Global Orphan Relief (GO!) has been serving orphaned children since 2005, and as a result of this effort, widows, families, and entire communities are transformed through our Home-based Care initiative.  The care provided creates a ripple effect through the entire community as we demonstrate God’s love for His people.
