God is moving in Asia.

We were overwhelmed with the willingness of the people to serve, or love, their neighbors. In a land of contrast with millions of people of different faiths live side-by-side, many continue to be in search of the truth. The Church is now mobilizing to demonstrate the love of Jesus by serving others.

Via our new ministry project ICS/Child Care Plus, 100 orphan children were enrolled in school earlier this term, with 30 of these children attending school for the very first time!

This is only the start of addressing the needs of 30,000 orphan children in the North-Western Province of Zambia.

Our Impact is Growing!

As we journey forward it is easy to see God moving before us. The number of children that are now being impacted can only occur through his Church around the world.

We are impacting 230% more children since December 2021, due to the explosive growth in our Church Mobilization Initiative.

This rapid growth as created some stress to our financial structure over the last 12-months. To continue serving at our current scale, additional resources are needed for February.

Our return to Asia is four years in the making.

We have had several false starts since 2018, but next month we return to Asia with the launch of our Church Mobilization Initiative. This is a very exciting, while challenging time in our ministry as we engage the local church to care for orphan children in their communities. It is awesome to see what God is ready doing with this effort in Kenya and Zambia.

The history of our experience with the Great Commandment goes back many years in our ministry. In fact, you might say that we have been a Great Commandment ministry from our beginnings as we have setout to serve orphan children.

In consideration of the Great Commandment, I would implore you to listen to God as to how He might have you respond to love your neighbor.

Come change the future with us!

We can change the future for more than 10,000 children in 2023. This is not some assumed destination, nor is this some magical number to achieve. This is based on the need within our sphere of influence in the field. These are simply children in need that are within our reach to bless.

UMC Churches celebrated with their official launch of their Care Centres in the area surrounding Meru, Kenya.

Their leadership hosted a Great Commandment Workshop in June 2022, and now have launched twenty-six (26) Care Centres in Kenya to care for the impoverished with an emphasis on orphan children.

Based on our Church Mobilization Initiative, via our Great Commandment Workshops (GCW) events, we continue to witness the Church in Kenya moving out in their communities to serve orphan children. 5,093 children were served in November by 443 GO! Ambassadors that were commissioned at 9 GCW events in 2022.

Dennis Kithuka and his younger brother Benson Muthini are both orphans and sons to the late Ms Ndele Kithuka who passed from illness while they were at a tender age.

Naomi is age twelve and she is in grade five. Life has not been easy for her living without parents with the limited food that her grandmother can provide.

As Global Orphans Relief (GO!) in collaboration with Arising Christian Ministries (ACM) provides nutritional support for 48 orphan children that attend the JOY Education Centre in Lucky Summer Estate which is located in Nairobi.

Global Orphan Relief (GO!) in collaboration with field partners in Ethiopia, Kenya, & South Sudan provide nutritional support at some level to 1,725 orphan children. This nutritional support usually involves local schools as the distribution point.

Matthew Kuach, aged 16, primary eight from Beliek Village School in South Sudan becomes another successful beneficiary of Global Orphans Relief (GO!)’ Nutrition Initiative support in South Sudan.

Global Orphan Relief has been feeding children at the Beliek Village School since 2016 and we have provided an est. 1.7 million meals to children in South Sudan.

We finalized our budget earlier this month, and then based on news received just this week, we have exceeded (again) the number of children we expected to serve for November. Check out what we have accomplished so far this year and what is planned for 2023!

We visited the House of Faith Orphanage last month, and I wanted to share this experience with you the best I can.

The House of Faith Orphanage is a blessing to so many and is Holy ground.

Kelvil Minyoso Egadwa, 48-year-old mother and grandmother. She is a born-again Christian and a minister of the word of God at Kwangware PAG Church. She has been a church leader for more than five years, specifically serving as the head of women's ministry at the church.

She shares her experience of attending a Great Commandment Workshops (GCW) event, and the results of what she received there.

Joseph Agany, aged 17, is an eighth-grade pupil who has benefited from GO!’s sponsored programme of school meals. He says he is grateful to have reached his academic dreams (of completing grade eight) of his primary education.  Agany is an orphan that has had his life changed through the nutritional support at school.

In the Where is Home? chapter of Pure Religion, the book I released earlier this year, you will find some insights from our experiences over the last seventeen years regarding a family and home for orphan children.

Home is where our Father provides a family for an orphan child. This is a supernatural process for each child that creates outcomes that include the richness of faith, hope, and love.

In Matthew, Mark, and Luke’s telling of the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000, Jesus simply states

“You feed them.”
