A Growing Miracle: Festus and the Gift of Family at House of Faith
A Growing Miracle: Festus and the Gift of Family at House of Faith
by Noah Ministries
When Gideon and baby Festus arrived at House of Faith, little Festus was just one month old — fragile, tiny, and in need of love and care. Today, by God’s grace, Festus is over one year old, thriving, growing, and full of life!
We look back in awe at how far he’s come and give thanks for the transformation we’ve witnessed — a reminder of what love, stability, and community can do in a child’s life.
Festus’s story is one of 19 precious stories being written every day at House of Faith. While these children may have come from challenging beginnings, they now call House of Faith home — and it’s so much more than just a shelter. It’s a place where they are surrounded by the love of a family, encouraged to dream, nurtured in faith, and given the foundation they need to flourish.
We thank God for you — our faithful ministry partners — who make this work possible. Your prayers, your giving, and your commitment are a blessing to every child who finds hope and healing here.
As we continue on this journey of love and restoration, we pray that the Almighty God continues to be with you, strengthen you, and reward you for your heart of compassion.
Together, we are building something eternal — one child, one story, one miracle at a time.
Please note that Pastoral care is provided to these students as our partners demonstrate the Gospel through your kind support.
We thank our local field partner, Noah Ministries in Zambia, with whom we have served since 2007. Over the years their effort and care to meet the needs of orphan children in their community is such a blessing. They are located in the Southern Province of Zambia.
The First Home at House of Faith Under Construction in 2007.
The House of Faith Orphanage project began in 2007 in partnership between Noah Ministries and Global Orphan Relief. We received our first child in March 2008.
Our campus now includes six homes for orphan children with a capacity of 72 children. These homes are led by a widow who cares for these children as her own.
Global Orphan Relief (GO!) has been serving orphaned children since 2005, and as a result of this effort, orphan children, widows, families, and entire communities are transformed through our Home-Based Care Initiative. The care provided creates a ripple effect through the entire community as we demonstrate God’s love for His people.
You may send support or other correspondence to Global Orphan Relief, 16352 Prairie Farm Cir, Parker, CO 80134 or you may also give electronically at Home-Based Care Initiative for this specific effort or you may give on this website at the upper right-hand corner under ‘Donate’ by choosing Home-Based Care under the ‘Fund’ designation.
