In 2012 Andy and Susie Stewartstarted their own ministry, True Impact Ministries at  www.trueimpactministries.com, to better serve the needs of the people in Uganda.

January 2009, Mwebaza Foundation Partnership Established

To establish a relationship between the school in Silembe, Zambia, with an American partner school through e-mail or letter correspondence. In September, We delivered letters, drawing, and disposable cameras to the Silembe sister school –from Eagle Crest in Longmont. In October, the pictures that were taken by the students in Silembe were developed and presented to the 5th grade class at Eagle Crest Elementary.  This is an educational cross-cultural effort to connect kids in the schools here in the U.S. with children in the third world. Eagle Crest Elementary and the Mwebaza Foundation sent 6 boxes of pen pal letters and school supplies to Zambia in December.

September 2009

GO! Board members Scott Nordstrom and Mike Dee traveled to Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) with partners Mike and Linda Jones, to assess opportunities to serve orphans. No immediate opportunities presented themselves based on the logistics to serve there, but we did know that we would somehow be involved in the future.

We were also able to visit the House of Faith Orphanage in Zambia during this trip to assess the progress with this development. The Hall of Faith construction had begun earlier in the year and was well underway. This building was to have a large meeting room, dorms for visitors, and an apartment for the Orphanage Director.

October 2009 Silembe Community School Blessing

We have water! After a week of trying to drill the well. Having water at the local community school will provide a source for water for the students that attend there and allow for an improved learning environment for the many students who attend school there.

Results: We finished the year serving 51 children, with 558 total months of care.
