July Need

July Need

July 5, 2023

by Scott Nordstrom

As we carefully navigate our most difficult time of the year, June-September, I wanted to make you aware of our progress and the needs in the field.

As in 2021 & 2022, we continue to grow resources, but this growth trails our commitments in the field. Compounding this problem are the deficits that we have experienced in the past two years that has reduced our resources to $18,000 today. We believe that we have made the needed course correction as we are in a much better position when compared to last year at this time.

We are so thankful for the over 250 funding partners that fuel this ministry to orphan children, and we would not have had the impact in the world without you! The work that you all continue to accomplish is inspiring to so many. In addition, our field partners have also shown great flexibility as they have had to adjust to what we have been able to provide them.

While we have reduced our level of support going back several months now, we have limited options moving forward without eliminating the essential resource needs of the children. Our funding need for July is as follows:

One thing that is critically important to our movement is that we need to add new partners that would like to invest in the Kingdom by providing aid to orphan children. I firmly believe that Global Orphan Relief is one of the great values for investing Kingdom resources as we work to lift up the next generation.

As I have outlined in previous months There are up to five ways for you to get involved:

  1. Set-up a monthly gift;

  2. Consider a one-time gift;

  3. Join us for our Beautiful Child Gala in September and bring your friends;

  4. If you are already a funding partner, consider telling a friend or family member about the wonderful work that you are accomplishing through Global Orphan Relief!

  5. Pray for this ministry. Pray for wise decision making and that the children receive all that they need.

  6. Consider how you might advance the cause of orphan children through serving in some way.

So many of you have made significant contributions to this important work over the last 18-years. This is your movement and thank you for your continued faithfulness.
