Bulyambebe, Zambia

Our partners met with the Bulyambeba community last Saturday in regards to serving orphans in their area. 

The committee from the community will do almost everything except fund the programs we provide to the children in need.  There are no plans for employees at this time as the local community will be working with the children directly.

In terms of the orphans that we will serve, each committee member (12) must agree on every orphan named and listed as being truly needy.  We estimate that there will be approximately 50 orphans in the Bulyambeba area to start with.  Our efforts will be all about demonstrating the love of Jesus.  There will be teaching and singing as the orphans gather at a designated location in the community.  We will be providing for their physical needs as this program develops, and in the interim, physical needs will be provided for on a case-by-case basis.
