Building the Future in Aweil Town

Since we are already serving in Adoor, Luethwek, Beliek, and at one other location in Aweil, which are all located in Northern Bahr el Ghazal, providing food aid in Aweil Town only seemed like a natural next step. We are building the future in Aweil Town!

With the funding provided, construction began last month for latrines for the school. This project will be done later this month. Early next year, Christ Mission to the World will establish a temporary cook shelter where meals can be prepared to serve 709 vulnerable children.

Girls Soccer at Beliek

Beliek Primary School produces female Soccer team to bolster Girl child education campaign as part of the GO! Sponsorship IMPACT in the community.

With more than 20 girls ages of 6- 16 years have been trained to play soccer and will be ready to compete with other neighboring schools' girls during Christmas Eve celebrations this year.

Beliek Primary School Introduces Plantation Scheme for School Environment

As one of the three schools sponsored by Global Orphans Relief (GO!) in partnership with the Christ Mission to the World (CMW), Beliek Primary School introduces a school plantation scheme where all types (mostly mango) of trees are planted around the school compound to beautify the environment.

Global Orphan Relief has been feeding children at the Beliek Primary School since 2016 and we have provided an est. 1.8 million meals to children in South Sudan.

Valentino Wek Nyang Tops in His School

Valentino Wek Nyang, a fifteen-year-old orphan child whose residence has been the school compound for the last four years, now emerges as the best student with 488 marks out of 500.

Feeding the Beautiful

We first visited the JOY Education Centre in August 2021. This school in the Lucky Summer Estate -Nairobi, Kenya.

There are many needy children in this area, but we have been blessed to Feed the Beautiful at JOY with the help of Arising Christian Ministries. These children are blessed to start their day with breakfast, and they build home for the future with their studies.

Education/Nutrition at JOY Education Centre

As Global Orphans Relief (GO!) in collaboration with Arising Christian Ministries (ACM) provides nutritional support for 48 orphan children that attend the JOY Education Centre in Lucky Summer Estate which is located in Nairobi.

Global Orphan Relief (GO!) in collaboration with field partners in Ethiopia, Kenya, & South Sudan provide nutritional support at some level to 1,725 orphan children. This nutritional support usually involves local schools as the distribution point.

Lueth-wek Orphans form Soccer Teams as part of Poverty & Illiteracy eradication under GO!/CMW

Meet James Otieno of Fortune Learners' Centre

Meet James Otieno, 6 years old, who came to the Fortune Learners’ Centre in 2020 with his two cousins -Dylan age 14 and Neola age 7. James was born when his mum was single, so he grew under the care of one parent until she passed due to illness

He is now receiving aid via our Nutrition Initiative at Fortune Learners’ Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
