In partnership with GHF we started serving in two schools in Jutpani & Siddhi, Nepal, where 220 vulnerable children are provided essential education support. In addition, through this program we minimize the threat of child trafficking for these children. We would like to continue supporting these children, but we need your help.

From a child currently in the program:
“I was weak in many subjects. Though I went school every day, I did not used to submit my homework to my teachers. When the Afterschool Program started, I joined classes. I got time not only to do my homework, but I could also ask our teachers about other subjects which I could not understand in school. The Afterschool Program has opened the way of education in my life. Now, I am able to understand all the subject. My studies have been improved. I was not able to pass all the subject before I joined the Afterschool Program. I am cordially thankful to the teachers and to Gentle Heart Foundation for spreading the light of education to a weak student like me. – A. Chepang
