2023 GO! Gala | Beautiful Child Celebration

We held our 8th Annual Gala celebration on September 24th. This year’s theme was Beautiful Child and it was appropriate as we highlighted all that is being done through this ministry on their behalf.

We heard a powerful keynote address by Bishop Garang of South Sudan, and then our President & Founder, Scott Nordstrom shared some stories from his field experiences and his vision for the future of this ministry. We thank all of our sponsors for the evening, the volunteers who made it happen, and our guests. Scenes from this year’s event:

As far as net proceeds, it appears that we surpassed what was raised last year, however, this was below what our goal was for the evening. We are happy to communicate that we have raised $130,000 toward this goal. We are thankful for what the King provided through all that contributed, and we will move forward as resources allow.

One other area that we will continue to gain ground is with what we refer to as Cornerstone Funding. This is the monthly funding that is provided month-after-month that is foundational to our growth. This Cornerstone Funding is now $8,563 each month. We would like to add $3,000 to this monthly amount based on our average monthly deficit of $2,640 over the last 12-months.
