Victor Munachoonga Profile – Sponsor Needed

Victor Munachoonga was born Feb 13 2013, and while he does have parents, they cannot sufficiently care for him.  His father is not known and his mother struggles with mental issues.

Victor came to House of Faith the 29th of June 2015 very sick.  He was in the hospital three times for over 8 days each visit in 2015.  Victor will be 4 years old in Feb 2017 but looks like a two-year old based on his size.  We found that because of severe malnutrition in his first two years of life that he is now developmentally challenged. 

We have seen much progress in Victor over the last year.  He has so many needs but the Lord is good and we are trusting HIM with Victor.

While Victor was received at the House of Faith in 2015 based on his needs, he has no sponsor which means he has no financial support.  Victor does require a fair amount of medical care and do need to secure a sponsor to insure his continued care.  To help Victor go to: https://globalorphanrelief.networkforgood.com/projects/23200-donate-to-support-global-orphan-relief-children and in the notes section reference ‘Victor’ as the target of your giving.  Each child at the House of Faith requires $100 monthly in support, or $1,200 annually.  Please give up to this amount on the behalf of Victor.

NEED:  Zambia is a country of nearly 14 million people with an orphan population of approximately 1.4 million.  Many of these children remain with extended family and most of these extended families have biological children as well.  Ultimately, when resources don’t allow for food, clothing, and education as needed, these orphan children are last in line -not having the same rights as the other children.

Through October 2016 we have provided funding of $818,658 that has been invested in capital infrastructure, program development, and for the care of the children.  Today we serve 374 children in Zambia through various means; home-based care, foster care, education scholarships, and feeding programs.
