School is in Session

House of Faith Orphanage – Silembe, Zambia Update->

In January, we decided to pull the HOFO children out of the community school and provide instruction to them full-time on the HOFO campus.  Previously, they had been attending the community school for a 1/2 day and then a 1/2 day with the HOFO tutor.  Unfortunately, the education provided at the community school has been very poor for many years and though we have tried to assist, the local village politics became too much of an obstacle for us to clear.

On June 3rd, our partners in Zambia arrived at House of Faith finding an outside classroom taking place.  We are seeing the children learning in new ways and their English is so improving!  I am excited to see how the Lord will continue this program of learning.  Thankful for such a wonderful teacher and the children so willing to learn.
