Education in Pakistan
GO! partnered with the Bethel Church of Pakistan in late 2010 to open an Orphan’s care home in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. For additional information go to https://globalorphanrelief.org/pakistan-project-2016/. This home received children for the first time in January 2011. The home host 25 vulnerable children of Pakistan. Pastor Saleem Raza of the Bethel Church of Pakistan is also instrumental in providing care for orphans at two other sites in Punjab Province.
We received word yesterday that the 25 orphans in the home we support have taken the annual examinations after much hard work. In the first week of April, 2016, their new classes will begin. Please pray with us for the need in Punjab Province because $ 1,000 is required for each home for purchase of new books. Consider partnering with us in this regard.
These children are not supported through the child sponsorship program at GO! due to security concerns. Since 2010 we have had several one-time donations totaling $6,140 earmarked for this orphan home project, but this program is primarily supported out of our general fund. To continue this program will require funding due to other commitments of the movement. The children are receiving full care to include bible instruction by their care givers. Since 2010 we have invested $88,910 to advance the Kingdom in Pakistan through our service to these children. Won’t you join us in blessing the children of Pakistan?
