Royal and Victor
Update from Zambia | House of Faith Orphanage | Child Update
As many of you know, we have two boys at the House of Faith Orphanage (HOFO) that are disabled in some way. Over the years we have had individuals visit to deploy physical therapy techniques and we have been bless to see substantial progress over the years. We are thankful for all of the volunteers from the States that helped these two boys, numerous financial supporters over the years, and the local people that work with these children daily.
We do have a new worker at HOFO, her name is Caroline. She comes for about 15 hours a week to work with Royal and Victor doing the things Jo Anne had hoped the mothers would be able to do in regards to the physical therapy that is needed for the boys.
Royal swings and plays in the mud and sand. He is practicing with his hands picking up small cheerios and blocks with is fingers and hands.
Victor is getting more and more strength in his legs and stands so much better. He also is learning how to pick up items, put them in a bag and take them back out again. Keep these boys in your prayers and that we will be able to organize a Lusaka Beit Cure Hospital trip soon.
At therapy Frances had Royal’s feet flat and legs straight. We are trusting the leg braces we want to have made in Lusaka will help him even more to strengthen and help prepare him for walking.
