Celebrating 20 Years of God's Goodness: A Journey of Faith

On July 8, 2005, we began with nothing more than a broken heart and a simple act of obedience. We had no roadmap, no great strategy -only the call of God and a burden to care for orphan children. We had no idea how to actually serve these children, but we knew we had to try. We had to do something. What has unfolded over the past twenty years is nothing short of miraculous.
Today, we celebrate a testimony to God’s faithfulness, provision, and deep, unwavering love for His children. Over two decades we have grown into a flourishing mission -touching lives in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, South Sudan, Uganda, and Zambia. Through the years, we’ve had the immense privilege of serving thousands of precious children, and even today, we impact 13,931 orphan children in seven countries in Africa and Asia.
Each child we’ve met, each life we’ve touched, is a testimony of hope -living proof that love does change everything! We have seen hearts healed, futures restored, and dreams ignited. Through it all, we have sought to reflect the love of the Father, and we’ve been continually humbled by the beauty and resilience of the children we serve.
This journey has not always been easy. There have been moments of uncertainty, sacrifice, and struggle. But there has also been immeasurable joy, countless miracles, and undeniable evidence of God’s hand in every step as we have journeyed into the unknown. Anything that has been accomplished is not our strength, but His. Not our wisdom, but His grace. Not our glory, but His alone.
As we celebrate this 20-year milestone, we look back with gratitude and forward with expectation. We are still in awe of what God has done—and we know He is not finished yet. Thank you to every supporter, partner, and friend who has stood with us along the way. Together, we are writing a story of redemption and love that will echo into eternity.
To God be the glory for all He has done.

Global Orphan Relief (GO) has been serving orphaned children since 2005. We have accomplished this work to date through local partners in each country that provides oversight and distribution of care.
About the Author Scott Nordstrom who leads GO! today and has done so since our launch in 2005. Scott has been instrumental in deploying 176 volunteers on 30 teams to the mission field and has personally served in DR Congo, India, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal, South Sudan, and Zambia. Scott is a published author and speaks in the United States, as well as, internationally regarding child welfare and matters of faith, hope, and love.
