Orphans & Widows Pakistan | Christmas Celebration & December Support Report

Good news of Christmas celebrations in Jaranwala, Narowal, and Raiwind, Pakistan. Our partners at Bethel Church of Pakistan coordinated a local church in each location to arrange delicious food and clothes distribution at each event. Many of these families were blessed to celebrate Christmas for the very first time and were overwhelmed to also receive gifts and food.
“I am grateful to God who provided us food, clothes, and other support in our time of need. Our God delights us and blesses us. He is our Heavenly Father and on Christmas we have been gifted many good things,” shares Shakeela who is one of the widows supported through this program.
The local teams blessed these families with new clothes, shoes, and other support for the orphans and widows in each of these meetings. 13 widows and their 43 children gathered at Raiwind, Jaranwala, Uggo Munda Village, and Narowal where Christmas feast was provided along with prayer and worship.
We remain encouraged by all of the families being blessed through our Home-based Care Initiative, and this partnership, that keeps widow-led households together with their children. This work is fulfilling the scriptures as we bless the least of these. We have grown this partnership to serve 13 families and 43 orphan children in December. These families are being sustained by the partners of this movement and thank you for your generosity. Please note that Pastoral care is provided to these families as our partners demonstrate the Gospel through your kind support.

We thank our partner Bethel Church of Pakistan, whom we have served with since 2011, for their efforts to provide for the needs of Widows & Orphans in their community. As we continue this effort into 2022 it is important for us to secure the monthly support needed for current needs and to grow this partnership. Our impact today is twelve families led by a widow, serving 43 orphaned children, with many families waiting for aid. Today, $1,240 monthly is needed to support these thirteen families.
