Winter is coming in Zambia

An update from our partners in Zambia:

The change of seasons is always challenging in Zambia as we swap out clothes for the children.  Over the years GO! has delivered more than 4 tons of supplies, but things where out with multiple children receiving hand me downs from one year to the next.

We were blessed to find warm clothes last week and can say everyone at House of Faith has what they need for winter in Zambia.  The Lord always brings what we need for HIS kids.  5 hours was spent in the market pulling used clothes and then another day washing them up to give out.

We were blessed to only spend $200 for the coats, shoes and warm clothes.  There wasn’t much in the closet to choose from.  There is even less summer clothes so keep praying that we will find what is needed for summer hand out come mid-August.   We also gave out shoes with warm socks.

Our town kids went shopping with mama Benita and I last Saturday.  They have long pants, long sleeve shirts, and coats to keep them warm.  We will be going to House of Hope on Wednesday and we are hoping that we have what is needed for them, but might have to shop a bit to fill in what might be missing.
