On December 21, in the joyful season of Christmas, the Global Orphan Relief Ambassadors, together with Kripa Free Methodist Church, had the privilege of celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with 17 orphan children and the dedicated home staff living under the care of Jagrit Bal Kendra. Children, from ages 4 to 15 were present. This celebration was not only an event but a heartfelt expression of God’s love, compassion, and care for children who are often forgotten by society.

Celebration Activities
First, we had greetings with each other we started this celebration with prayers and thanksgiving we sang Christmas song and Rev Samuel Tamang shared a Christmas message. We cut the cake and made this celebration more meaningful and enjoyable with the children.
To make the children feel special and loved during the Christmas season, the team arranged a joyful outing. The children and home staff were taken to a restaurant, where they were provided with different varieties of food. For many of the children, this was a rare and memorable experience. Their faces were filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement as they shared meals together in a warm and joyful environment.
As a special Christmas surprise, each child was gifted a pair of new shoes. The joy and gratitude expressed by the children touched everyone present. Their happiness reminded us that even small acts of kindness can make a great difference in a child’s life.
Christmas reminds us that God Himself came into this world in humility and love. Jesus was born not in a palace but in a manger, identifying with the poor, the weak, and the vulnerable.
This celebration was an act of obedience to God’s Word and a reflection of Christ’s love in action. By spending time with the children, sharing food, and giving gifts, we sought to demonstrate the love of Jesus in a practical and meaningful way.
The children were deeply encouraged and felt valued, loved, and remembered. The home staff also expressed their gratitude for the support, fellowship, and encouragement. The event strengthened relationships and brought joy to everyone involved.
This Child is the youngest child in Jagrit Bal Kendra orphanage he is just four years old. The Christmas celebration on December 21 was a powerful reminder that Christ’s love is best expressed through action. The Global Orphan Relief Ambassadors and Kripa Free Methodist Church are thankful to God for the opportunity to serve the children of Jagrit Bal Kendra. We pray that God will continue to protect, guide, and bless each child and staff member.

Today, we impact 15,004 orphan children in Africa and Asia in four initiatives: Home-Based Care, Education, Nutrition, and Church Mobilization.
We focus on providing care to orphan children and encourage the local Church to do the same. We coordinate aid distribution with local Field Partners in-country and encourage a similar process through the local Church.
