Exciting News: Global Orphan Relief Partners with World Challenge for 2026 and Beyond

We are thrilled about our groundbreaking partnership between Global Orphan Relief (GO!) and World Challenge that we announced at our Gala last month. This new partnership will dramatically expand our ability to serve vulnerable orphans and widows around the world—starting in 2026, and has already made a difference in 2025!
For years, Global Orphan Relief has worked through trusted indigenous church partners in some of the hardest-to-reach places on earth—South Sudan, Zambia, DRC, India, Pakistan, and beyond—providing education, nutrition, medical care, and the hope of the Gospel to thousands of children and widows who have lost everything.
Now, through this strategic partnership with World Challenge (founded by David Wilkerson and led today by Gary Wilkerson), we are taking the next step forward together.
What This Partnership Means
Beginning in 2026, Global Orphan Relief will continue mobilizing our current field partners and expanding our on-the-ground work—only now under the trusted World Challenge banner.
This is not a merger or an acquisition. It is a true partnership that allows us to:
Reach significantly more orphans and widows than ever before
Maintain and grow our existing programs with the same grassroots church partners we’ve worked with for years
Dramatically reduce administrative and fundraising overhead
Channel an even higher percentage of every donated dollar directly to children and widows in the field
In short: the same vision, the same partners, the same passion—now with greater reach and even better stewardship.
Why This Matters
Every dollar saved on administration and fundraising is a dollar that goes straight to feeding a hungry child, paying school fees for an orphan, or providing emergency medical care to a widow who has no one else.
By combining forces with World Challenge—an organization with decades of experience serving the poorest of the poor—we eliminate redundant costs while preserving the unique strengths that have made Global Orphan Relief effective since 2005: deep relationships with local churches, rigorous child-protection standards, and a laser focus on the most forgotten children on earth.
The Best Is Yet to Come
This partnership opens doors we could only have dreamed of a few years ago. More children to be enrolled in school. More widows receiving monthly food support. More communities hearing the life-changing message of Jesus alongside practical help.
And most importantly: every current GO! partner, child, and widow will continue to receive the same love and support—now with the added strength and resources that World Challenge brings to the table.

Global Orphan Relief (GO) has been serving orphaned children since 2005. We have served in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, South Sudan, Uganda, & Zambia since our inception.

Our mission is simple: to provide loving support for orphans, fostering a greater capacity for physical, spiritual, and emotional healing and growth, and deploying the local church to do the same.
Today, we impact 14,922 orphan children in Africa and Asia in four initiatives: Home-Based Care, Education, Nutrition, and Church Mobilization.
We focus on providing care to orphan children and encourage the local Church to do the same. We coordinate aid distribution with local Field Partners in-country and encourage a similar process through the local Church.
