We were honored to come along side Yah Educational Trust in New Delhi, India, to feed vulnerable children this month. This is an especially difficult time as COVID-19 lockdowns continue and income opportunities for those in the slum have all but vanished. We are uncertain that we will continue beyond July based on commitments elsewhere. Be in prayer with us in this regard.

Thank you so much for investing in our “Community Food Bank Program”. As of now we have helped 91 families with food and financial assistance to meet other needs. In addition to these families, 10 Pastors and their families also were also provided aid. Just wanted to let you know that your kind contribution has been a life saving investment for many. COVID lockdown has been a curse for slum people as they can’t go anywhere outside their area.

This becomes very challenging for daily wages workers. By seeing their challenging condition, we have set up this food bank to help as many as families possible. Also, we are trying to help independent Pastors who were running small congregation. As the Church is shut down, they have no finances to survive. Global Orphan Relief (GO) has been serving orphaned children since 2005. We have accomplished this work to date through local partners in each country that provides oversight and distribution of care. In June we will serve 3,300 children in DR Congo, India, Pakistan, Kenya, South Sudan, and Zambia within our Home-based Care, Nutrition, and Scholarship Initiatives. 2018 was when our first team visited India.
Feeding 5,000 is about our vision to feed 5,000 orphaned children each month. All three of our initiatives have a nutritional component. So today we serve, or feed, 3,300 children in DR Congo, India, Kenya, Pakistan, South Sudan, and Zambia.
This vision simply requires us to bring what’s in our hand to the Father. Like in the biblical account of Jesus feeding the 5,000, a boy provided a few loaves and fish for the meal. Faith is required to give up what you know will not be enough and trust that He will provide enough. Simple, but not easy.
