Chabota Muleya | House of Faith Orphanage
The House of Faith Orphanage received Chabota Muleya on February 9th, 2017. He was born August 9, 2015 and was just 18 months old when we received him. He is in Mama Mary's house.
His mother had mental issues and complained of Chest pains on the Sunday just before he was brought to us. She was found past away early Monday morning. A very sad situation for Chabota and his family. Chabota's grandmother is trying to care for his sister, who is 6 years old, but did not feel she could care for both children. Chabota's father is not known.
Chabota gets along well with his new family and enjoys school and playing soccer. He’s now in school learning his letters and number.
The House of Faith Orphanage is a campus of homes built in the ‘bush’ in the Southern Province of Zambia. In partnership with Noah Ministries, we began to develop this property in 2007, and received our first child in March 2008. Each home host a family with a housemom. We currently host 30 orphaned children at the House of Faith Orphanage.
To care for Chabota, and other children like him, costs for a child at House of Faith can be upwards of $100 per month which includes food, care supplies, care givers, clothing, school, and medical care.
You may send support for Chabota or other children at the House of Faith to Global Orphan Relief, 16352 Prairie Farm Cir, Parker, CO 80134 or you may give also give electronically at Support Chabota Muleya.
