I couldn’t help but write down an experience that I had at church this weekend, in hopes that some of you may be blessed by it. We were at the Assumption Cathedral in Denver on Sunday and the service was beautiful and solemn. The sights and sounds took me to a different time and place. It was good.
After church, I hurried over to ‘coffee hour.’ I recognized one of the ladies of the church; she is a friend of the family, and a very nice person. As I went to say hello, I stopped myself.

Read MoreWe received Adut and Nyibol Majok this past month at the Light House Orphanage in Aweil, South Sudan. This aid centre is now home to many who were homeless and without hope for the future.
There are many children like Adut and Nyibol that continue to roam the streets of Aweil looking for whatever provision that they may find. This is also an unsafe environment for children fraught with others that might cause them harm. Join us in rescuing these children to provide some level of safety and comfort for these precious ones.
Read MoreChildren like Yak Yak now have the opportunity to attend school in Lueth-wek Village, South Sudan. They are learning for the first time and receiving a meal. He along with 451 other children that attend school in Lueth-wek. With food scarce in South Sudan, the children benefit greatly from the food that is provided at school. These children are also learning the Gospel and seeing it demonstrated firsthand in their community. This is a good work that blesses many precious children!

He along with 494 other children that attend school at the Adoor Village School in South Sudan, are now learning for the first time. With food in short supply in South Sudan, the children also benefit from the meal that is provided at the school. Lastly, these children are learning the Gospel and seeing it demonstrated by their community firsthand. Beautiful!
