A Message From Our Founder

On Valentine’s Day 2005, Despina was put on bedrest as we expected our fourth child. Despina was desperate to do anything that might help save our unborn child Faith.

I soon began to work from home, trying to maintain my business while doing my best to manage the other three children of our clan. Between this time and the birth of Faith some three months later, Despina I spent more time praying than any other time in our lives -all in an effort that she might be saved.

We had no idea of the journey that God was preparing us for, or the pain that we would endure because of our loss of Faith. Looking back, that time for our family was so beautiful, though wrought with so much pain. Things that were so important at the time seemed to fade away. Needs beyond my own circumstance were becoming forefront in my mind.  God was pressing purpose from our pain. It was a very difficult time, but so much has changed since our experience with Faith so many years ago.

I have personally served in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, India, Mexico, Nepal, South Sudan, and Zambia since 2005; all to help children that was no concern of mine prior to my experience with Faith. Children that are unknown to me are now my priority, as is the case for many of you. The children that I have been blessed to serve, I now think about each and every day.

God has amazed me during this journey, but there is even more for us to accomplish. There are things that the Father is calling us to do that we cannot even imagine today. Yes, we have made a difference to many, but I am more compelled by things we have yet to do. I am burdened by the children we have yet to serve. These things we do in this mission are not only for the here and now but have eternal implications - all for the sake of love.

Children like Marcos, Sergio, Alfredo, Katrina, Justine, Sibajane, Royal, Olivia, Cheri, Natasha, Faith, Greatmore, Castro, Rebecca and so many others are so precious in His sight, and each uniquely designed for His purpose. Some say that I am a romantic because I believe in happy endings, and this I believe for the children we serve, too. There are still more of you participating in this movement that I have yet to meet, but you are in my prayers, and I am so glad that you are part of this journey. You are part of a band of like-hearted adventurers that are changing the very fabric of eternity -one child at a time.

If you haven’t already, I trust that you will somehow decide to join this movement, and you too can be amazed by how the Father will use you for the mission to serve His children.
